DESCRIPTION :
As a Technical Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in managing process safety, preventing industrial risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure safe operations that adhere to industry standards in bio-methane and biogas production.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Conducting process safety studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA, to identify and assess risks associated with bio-methane and biogas production.
* Designing and implementing functional safety systems (SIL) for facilities, taking into account the specific needs of each site.
* Designing and implementing Fire and Gas system (F&G) and escape routing
* Ensuring compliance with ATEX regulations for explosive atmospheres and guaranteeing the safety of electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate safety solutions into process design and standardization.
* Performing safety audits, evaluating existing systems, and proposing improvements to enhance facility safety.
* Participating in post-incident investigations and root cause analyses to identify potential failures and prevent recurrence.
* Managing team training on safety best practices and ensuring operators are aware of risks and preventive measures.
* Maintaining technical documentation related to safety and ensuring that all processes comply with international standards (ISO, OHSAS, etc.).
